Mal’s Wedding Invite

My good friend and occasional writing buddy Mal Croft asked me to design his wedding invitation and I was happy to oblige. His lovely wife had put together a Pinterest board of other invites they liked and I made this design based on the feel of them plus their wedding colour scheme so it all tied in. In a perfect world with a limitless budget I would have loved to have got these letter pressed with a nice thick watercolour paper-esque stock but alas there were probably more important things to pay for such as food and drink.

There were several iterations of the design not least to do with the small details and the colours used, as seen below…
